Kelly Flanagan was an award-winning elementary school teacher. She was selected for Wisconsin's Herb Kohl award for outstanding educators and was National Board Certified in middle grades. She has a B.S. in Journalism and a Master of Education.
Boating, hiking, and swimming in Michigan's Upper Peninsula are Kelly's favorite summer activities. She's also traveled to 48 states.
Kelly has a wonderful husband, three kids and four grandchildren. She loves sleepovers at her place with all the grandkids. Her grandkids call her Gigi. They spend a lot of time at parks with her.
Kelly lives in a town called Oconomowoc (pronounced Oh-con-oh-mow-woc) in Wisconsin. It is the first town to show The Wizard of Oz movie. Every year, there is a big celebration.
